I Shared the Darkness with You 2/28/13

In that moment, we stared into the horizon, the sheet of black rolling in and consuming like we had never seen before.

The past made it’s way to the darkness, the future wasn’t visible. All we had was that moment. Nothing else matters when you are staring into the end.

We were alone. It is funny how we talked of how things should be, talking about how our future should be, but all these thoughts got lost in the dark. Nothing mattered but what was happening there on the edge. 

As we dove into the darkness, it was at that point I knew we would not be coming back.
